Your photos are stunning, especially the birds ones... I take heaps of the sea and birds on my daily dog walks, but they don't look anywhere near as good as yours... thank you SO much for sharing 🥰
YO YO YO I love this piece. When I lived in SF, I walked down the Embarcadero all the time (I worked at Pier 39, Alcatraz, and the Exploratorium). I love walking near the water and seeing the waves crash against the piers. I hated when seagulls flew overhead and I was forced to play dodge with their shit. Your piece allowed me to remember those walks.
...thank you so much...sometimes i dream of living in SF and seeing the east bay from the west more often...i spent a couple months there when I first landed and mostly miss the incredible way you can urban hike from end to end of the city in a day and see so many different parts of a city...the east bay is more desolate and distant...lol that seagull shit dodge you reminisce on...thankfully only been hit a couple times on the foot and head...rapscallions all those winged beauties...
Dog walks in nice places are the saviour of life. Need more dog photos on Substack, maybe you can bring that in ‘25. I’ve only got the one but he’s up for helping a noble cause
Great song choices, too. Glad you are sharing what you see, your perspective is important, poignant, and very you. Fun to try and see through your eyes, thank you for sharing.
There are never TOO many photos when each subsequent one elicits a sigh! So much beauty in your art! Love, love, love these! You should chat with the folks at Nat Geo!
...i felt bad including so many but i figured that leaves room for folks to come back or take what they need from here (and that is not permission to scrape me A.I.)...thank you so much for all your support!!...
Man, these photos bring me back to my life in the East Bay. I love the diversity of color and scenery in this post. Thanks for sharing. It brought back a little taste from home.
Would like to see more photos - favorites: Under the heading of West, the flock of birds in front of the cityscape and under Shore, the tunnel photo.
Deal Richard -- thanks so much for checking these out and sharing that!!!
