"Doing is the distractive enemy of anxiety, and by advancing these trails I systematically shed shells of self that held fears finagled across decades of dreams"
So many excellent bits to this article, much more fun to read than to run. I am so impressed by you, Sasquatch in an A's cap, can't wait to see what the next goal brings.
...i am going to strategically rescue the Oakland A's from the clutches of the evil dastard John Fischer, and bring them back to where they belong, on a field in our backyard in West Oakland...
...it worked though i am laid out on a couch at 2:33AM nursing the pain of a back thrown out by overused hamstrings...whoever invented running should have slowed down a bit...
"As we crossed a creek into the second park I told myself more lies." Good lies seem often to be the mother of achievement. And you've got to do the hiking comedy tour. You could have a tour bus with the guests riding alongside you, enjoying the wet bar while you sweat and make up puns about chafing.

...something so darn beautiful aout instruments living free in nature...and also stove stop stuffing freed from the stove...totally agree with your sentiment on nature...it offers us so much freedom...
...me too Mitchell, me too...just got around to watching Poker Face which is kind of like a new age Columbo or Murder She Wrote...great show if you haven't watched it yet...

"I knew this run would be difficult so I told myself it would be easy. I knew this run would hurt so I told myself I don’t feel pain."
