Alohahaha friends. I appreciate you reading what I write, even if just for a sentence or two. I have been expressing vocabularily on my lonely for about eighteen months now and my brain feels like it has adequately filled a space. But this brain, free solo climber of the depths of hot garbage, needs to grow. This brain, zombie lunatic flesh eater of piss-whine alley graveyards, wants to meet and eat more brains.
Excited to read what you have in store! And really wish Substack would make it easier to engage with sections of your writing like highlights. So many epic phrases!
Well done! My fav poem is Not An Exhaustive List but my fav line is from the garbage poem "I hold all I throw out, I hold all I throw in". A universal truth right there in the garbage.
...thanks so much Donna...i learned a new word last week "hylozoism" and i like to think there is something living in the trash (maybe just rats, but I am thinking something deeper and bigger...actually on second thought i take this all back...lol...)...appreciate you taking a read here it was a fun prompt and activity for sure :)...
Wow, great word! When you think about it our trash would be like a living document of our lives. We don’t just throw anything away and it ceases to exist. An interesting contemplation! I mean people make art out of trash and it speaks to us, as you just did so well.
...so true...and amazing to think about just how much trash we make and what we do with it (land fills in Africa and India, islands of plastic in the Pacific)...if we avoid our trash, or are inconsiderate of it, it will just pile up and eventually come back to harm us...to think that in the land of ideas we can find joy in anything...even garbage...
Creative and unexpected! Who can beat a poem about feet ... or trash? You definitely rose to the challenge. Thank you for this bit of fun. Thanks to a nutty work week, I saved your funny-bone-tickler-post for April Fools' Day. How perfectly appropos.
...i appreciate your creative assistance very much...the boundaries of others are so freeing to the boundaries of self and this was an awesome prompt and experience...appreciate your communique and community...good luck with all of your upcoming work and experiences :)...
Amen: "Everyone takes themselves way too seriously on the internet. The more on I am, the moron I am."
I am guilt of taking myself way too seriously everywhere. Don't you know how important I am! This is something I am trying to get better at remembering: life isn't that serious, you aren't that important, chill out and smile. I do find this much harder to do when I'm in the city where everyone is always in a rush and trying to look/act as cool or sexy or important as possible.
Excited to see what other collabs are in store, in the name of friendship.
...it is really easy to get caught up our own asses if we don't pay attention to where our head is headed...appreciate you brother...still working on some sort of fast food roast/manifesto at some point...might be a good overlap to collab as well :)...
Let me know what you’re thinking for it. Depending on my work load/what I have going on when you’re planning to get it out, I’d love to chip in and collab
...i'll ping once i get it together...i am thinking of roasting fast food names, brands, logos, etc....then maybe you could provide good health and mind tips to give a positive space in the diatribe...we can chat it out sometime :)...

Yes, it’s both difficult and joyful.

Sounds like good fun, I like it, I like it a lot — ping me whenever you’re ready
Sorry (not sorry 🤷🏻♀️ ) to shoot at your delightful dada Poem with highly collaborative selective Bullets! These are The Truth:
NOT AN EXHAUSTIVE LIST - style of foote
* A journal is for recording journeys, and a yournal is for pissing into
* Everyone takes themselves way too seriously on the internet
* The more on I am, the moron I am
* Your parents should give you a catch phrase instead of a surname
* Yoda is a liar. There is try.
* We don’t understand the gravity of the situation because none of us have degrees in physics.
* Folks who say “my way or the highway” should have to build their own roads
* A good day is when your friend busts you out of a maximum security prison
* Vodka is good deodorant
* I want to quit running meetings and start walking them instead
* My past life regression made me want to move forward
* Don’t forget hugs
