A bit about me, I like human stories so a variety. Basically keep doing what you're doing. That's probably not helpful for growing your readership. I'll give it some more thought and let you know.

...very much appreciate that...yeah if i ever do something on screen it is going to have to be some hallmark Christmas movie where I play some construction foreman named Smitty Don Julio who knocks a semi famous TV/Film actress in the head with a ladder which gives her amnesia thus setting a plot in motion where she gets back together with an old fling...that or as legally mandated by the government of creators a [shudders] podcast...here's and cheers to writing and words while we got 'em...
*plot twist* we find out that smitty actually hits the semi-famous actress in person to get back with HIS old fling who’s a slightly-more-famous woodworker
...nothing like a good violent woodworking/carpentry romantic comedy to get hollywood salivating...since it is Hallmark the title can be called "Wood You Be Mine"...[exits off stage, falls off stage, receives workers comp]...

Sometimes I’m a little afraid of what my mind with conjure up subconsciously but this is a nice reminder.

I love the imagery your words conger up. I'm right there in that physics class and can hear the glass shatter and envision all nerdy science teachers I ever had. Your story telling strength always leaves me wanting more. Of course I also feel like I need more of the Garfield back story! I have passed along your substack to many friends, and all of them tell me what a great writer they think you are. It should be noted, most of these friends are in bookclubs with me! So what does that tell you? Sidebar, I kind of wish you had a late night talk show.
