Absolutely loved this. Fun. Easy. Accomplishable. Repeatable. What a recipe for a great life, not just creatively and professionally but for everything. Also love the audio version... you have a radio voice (not to say you don't also have a tv face). Keep on creatin'

Hey man, I just came across this article and this was such a FEARful read. It was fun, easy, accomplishable, and repeatable - I mean every word. The audio version improved this essay by A TON, so if you enjoy doing it, I hope you keep doing it. Thanks for sharing this to the world. 🙌🏼

Not gonna lie, I was expecting a introspective-yet-hilarious personal story of conquering fear... I did NOT expect CansaFis be giving step-by-step life advice. And yet -- did not disappoint...

Agree with many of the comments above. This is such a helpful framework. As strange as it sounds - having fun is one of the best ways to overcome fear.

This reminds me a lot of the “anti-grinding” principle - if you feel like you’re grinding through the work, you’re doing it wrong.

Love it man

...thanks Tommy...there is little in this life that we will do forever that isn't at least one of these core components (IMO)...personally i am a strong proponent of fun, but don't mind easy, etc. ... also totally agree that fun can get you over fear (see surfing, skydiving, horror movies, naked breakdancing, etc.)...and if your work is a drag, it is just going to drag you...life was meant to be lived...

I need you to design a FEAR tattoo so that the next time I feel moved to embrace the ink again I have an image at the ready.

Awesome voiceover, man. You should do some radio. I bet you did already. But seriously, this was a gazillion times better than just reading it. Your stuff is best when narrated the right way, IMHO. And I absolutely LOVED this: "My buddy Lee tells me, 'Moving a mountain all at once is overwhelming/impossible. Moving it rock by rock is ACCOMPLISHABLE.'"
