Man, I loved this one. Fun has never been high enough on my priority list. And nice has prob been too high. I’m a fiend for fight and flight in humans. So much good to think about in this post.
And the pics, as always, help me slow down in all the right ways. Blown away you take all those with your phone. Keep bringing em! 👊
Cool pics...literally. Love your pics, and the music. I felt like Harry Bosche for few minutes there. And the story a lot of people are finding themselves in...✌️
I sit here, awestruck and dumbfounded by the way you put words together. It's one of those symphonies again, one that makes it hard to find the words to throw into the comments. It's rare, such a symphony, these days -- usually a comment, at least a non-thoughtful one, is easy to pull up, but this? This doesn't trigger those. This -- like a lot of your writing -- makes me sit here, pondering, considering, re-reading, pulling quotes, figuring out what to say... Your words still unbalance in all the right ways. Marshall McLuhan said that the medium is the message, but you're skillfully stretching this medium to new and wonderful places. I bet that if you ever write a book, it won't be something that can be Amazon printed-on-demand -- it will be one with different textures of paper for different pages, selected Just Right to heighten the feels. It will be a work of art not just in the content, but in the medium too.
…that sounds like a righteous challenge…maybe a book with disappearing reappearing ink and an edible cover…or maybe just a book cover, like moby dick retold as the whale or some fish who paid witness…your comments are so appreciated…always good to hear i am on a path even if the path is just somewhere…or some thing…or very specifically some finite tome to touch…will we ever get a physical internet?…
You capture such beauty with your phone. And I disagree—your words are prettier and more meaningful than your photos.
…blush…appreciate that…i try…which is trying…but i do too…which is dotooing and much more fun to say…very appreciative of ya!…

My eyes write better than my fingers these days
Disagree. Your fingers painted quite a picture.
Having scrolled down to the pictures, they're fabulous too.

I see your soul in your photos, and know your heart reading your words. You have a gift, and you are a gift.

…love every inch and second of that thought…the bay does make me miss the brutal snow and cold and cozy of the midwest sometimes…
