A theater of photos and words worthy of an eclipse. And you’ve inspired me to start setting reminders to forget whatever it is I thought I was doing. 😉

...very appreciative of those words Heidi...i was never skeptical that the eclipse would be special (and was thankful that my attendance was planned multiple years in advance and coincided with a family reunion, a birthday party, and a chance to swim in Barton Springs), but echo most general sentiment in that it was better than expected and a delight unlike ever I have ever seen...the way the sky became false night for a few minutes and all the animals took on total silence is a memory i'll try to keep even as i intently forget most anything else...sending some orange bars to you soon btw...hold tight...

Glad to hear the stars (and sun and moon) aligned so you could enjoy so many celebrations. And sounds good. :)

"If I could only say one word a year what might I say?" That's an interesting self-posed question, especially for someone whose words pairings is one of the most notable strengths of their expression. In your case I'd ask, if I could only set two words side by side, what would they be? In any case, fewer words is not what I wish for with you, though that wish arises not infrequently in other cases. I could see this whole essay with the paragraphs spread out on separate pages accompanied by your photos. Your poetry is becoming ever more thinly disguised.
