Seriously gushing over so many lines in this post (ahoy ahoy bok choy 😵😵!) but I think the winner is: As time went on I traded that fear and mistrust for the others, into a fear and mistrust for my mother, and brother (and also my sister and father but they don’t rhyme).
I work backstage in the performing arts... I've seen and worked behind the scenes on pretty much every type and style of a show, and after two-plus decades of this, I'm jaded AF. It's not often that someone or something manages to get me to lose my mental footing in all the right ways, let alone inspire me to show up to an art creation zoom!
Also, Divergent is a novel/film set in a dystopian world where everyone is divided into factions. These factions contribute to the 'smooth' running of this world... At age 16 (I think) the citizens are put into factions depending on their strengths. Down the line, the government of this world realises that some people can't 'fit' into the factions (which is where the title divergent comes from i guess) and they bring imbalance to the smooth running of their world.
Yes! Is the idea to start and finish something within the session? How long is it? Traveling that day, but would be fun to make it work. This is my chance to resurrect my doodling career.
...there is flexibility Michael ...goal is to have everyone deliver something in those 2 hours, but an EOD tweaking will be allowed too for anyone who wants to tune a bit or who has time issues conflicting...goal is definitely as much participation as possible...rough timeline for the event will likely be 10-20 minutes of intro and then just music and artwork with a reconnect at the final 10 minutes...after the event all works will be compiled in a drive and shared with all attendees who will then have a month to take all of that and make it into something else...should be fun to see what gets created :)...
...here here and and a bucket of cheer...definitely come on out if you have the time...i am certain we will make art as powerful as when Vicki became jealous of an electronic cat on season 2 episode 22 of Small Wonder...
